Sin Jat Lai
Sin Jat brings over 12 years experience in engineering and technology investments and commercialisation in the cleantech, health, IT sectors with his roles as Senior VP at GRC SinoGreen Fund III and former General Partner of iGlobe Treasury.
Having previously worked with the Singapore government in promoting R&D and its commercilisation, Sin Jat has built up a strong background working with technology start-ups.
Sin Jat holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and Bachelor of Engineering from National University in Singapore.
Blaine Ah Yuk-Winters
Blaine has over 8 years experience working with and within early-stage technology companies in the cleantech, biotech, healthcare, and functional food sectors through positions with venture capital funds, boutique investment groups, and a biotech start-up.
He has a strong background in technology and IP risk assessment, financial modeling, valuation & returns analysis, market validation, business plan development, and project management.
Blaine holds a Master of Bioscience Enterprise (First Class Honours) and BSc (Biomedical Science) from the University of Auckland.
A chemical and process engineer by training, Andrew has a strong background in pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, having held numerous senior executive and directorships positions, in both New Zealand and offshore, covering most aspects of business including compliance, manufacturing, R&D and licensing.
He Chairs the investment committee of a consortium of leading NZ University commercialization arms (Kiwinet).
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hon) from the University of Canterbury.
Martin has over 35 years of experience and has a particular strength in corporate governance and in M&A activities. He is Chairman and Managing Director of the Apollan Group, a Sydney-based company specializing in venture capital, corporate finance, securities, and general investment. From 1986 to 1999, Martin was a Director of Babcock & Brown, an international investment bank. Prior to this he was a Director of Morgan Grenfell Australia Limited and before that a Senior Vice President with Security Pacific Group in London.
Martin has been a director of several public companies in Australia and New Zealand and has an extensive range of national and international contacts. Past positions include Selector Funds Management Ltd (Chairman), AI Medics Pty Ltd (Chairman), Liquid Capital Management Pty Ltd (Chairman). Promics Ltd.(Chairman), (Director), and ERM Power Group (Director), former Member CSIRO Commercial Executive Committee. He was also a judge of the annual AVCAL awards and a Justice of Peace. Martin holds a Bachelor of Business and a Diploma of Commerce from the University of Technology, Sydney and is a Fellow Certified Public Accountant, and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Directors.
